Offered today for your consideration we have a beautiful 2.50CT genuine Bohemian Garnet Fine ring designed in solid 14K yellow gold.
This antique ring is exquisite! Dating the late 1800’s or very early 1900’s. The color of the garnets are a Deep Deep Vivid Red with excellent luster and superb color saturation. The center garnet is a 1/2 carat (6mm round) gemstone, securely four prong set.Accenting the ring further are eight 0.25 carat each (4.5mm round) garnets of equal color and quality. 2.50 Carats of rich red mined from the earth natural Bohemian Garnets.
The craftsmanship is flawless. A raised hand carved open work basket Heavy in 14K gold holds securely all stones, defined with wonderful ornate detailing. The top mount is accented with milgrain petal border. No chips or cracks…very minor wear on the facets only seen under a jewelers loupe. The stones are completely eye clean, rated VVS2 in clarity.
The band has been previously sized and the 14K stamp is only partially visible, a very good job was done on building up the gold and in fortifying the mount.
** The ring currently fits a size 5.5 finger and could easily be sized up or down by your local jeweler.
** Weighs a HEAVY 5.75 Grams.
** 2.50 Carat Total Weight of genuine garnets!
** Partially stamped 14K on the inside of the band, solid 14K yellow gold purity, also tested and guaranteed to be solid 14K gold. The makers stamp remains but it is hard to read.
** Excellent pre-owned condition with no damage.
** Presentation area measures 13mm at the widest top center tapering to a thick 3mm wide at the bottom of the band (shank), sits up off the finger 9mm.
