This auction is for a beautiful pair of antique long-track speed skates that are marked Pat’d Jan. 20. 91.
The blades are 29 inches long, the wooden foot plates are 11 inches long and 2,5 inches wide at the bottom and there are ajustable metal clamps that move from 3 to 4 inches wide.
The blades seem to be made out of oak and the foot plates out of maple. There is a repair to the tip of one of the blades but both of they seem to be complete.
We guarantee this pair of skates to be authentic and not reproductions. They were found here in Quebec city canada but we do not know were they were afbricated.
