You are a Vintage/Antique Pair of American Art Nouveau patinated Bronze “Scottie Dog”(Scottie Terrier) bookends by Edith Barretto Parsons. One referred to as “Chasing His Tail”, height 4.25in X width 7in X depth 2.25in, and the other as “Upright Scottie”, height 5.25in X width 7in X depth 2.25in. Both bookends are signed E.B. Parsons, and “Chasing His Tail” is signed Kunst Foundry NY. These were made between 1878-1956. The year this particular pair were made is unknown by me. They are very heavy 8 pounds a piece. Both need to be cleaned in which I will leave to the buyer to do so as seen properly. From what I’ve read an researched, these bookends are a very desired collectors item.
