This accordion was made in Germany in 1960. I played it as a child and my sister played it before me. When I immigrated to the U.S. I did not take the instruments with me and forgot about it. A few years ago I went back to visit my family, looked through the storage area and found my old treasure. I thought it would be neat to take the accordion to the States and start playing again. But I had to realize that my fingers had lost a lot of their flexibility!
For a 52 year old instrument it still has quite a nice sound. The body shows some wear, the front grill is a little dented. It comes with a carrying case and some beginner’s sheet music.
