Here we have an extrordinary tribal bangle made from a natural material. The piece has the best honey coloured patina i have ever seen on a piece of this material.
The patina is golden all over and treacle brown almost black on the inside. This only happens from many tens/ hundreds of years of wear. I think that this piece dates from the early 19th century but could even be older! It was probably an anklet rather than a bangle but cant be sure.
The piece is in very good condition.
