Up for sale is this nice old wooden Tad Polly made by Heddon out of Dowagiac, Michigan. They were made from
1921-1929. It is Series # 6000, has perfect glass eyes, has L-rig hardware, the length is 4.625,” and the color is Blue Scale (the reason I think it’s
blue and not green is because the yellowing of the varnish makes it look green, but its just my opinion).
The lure is in overall Rough shape. Flaws:many flakes and chips out of the varnish, a few spots rubbed down to the primer, and a few pointers.
Still a nice early wooden example.
