Antique Cased Set of Technical Drawing/Mathematical Instruments – Early 20th C
Nice brass and steel set of drawing instruments. Not named so can’t be sure of date, but I would estimate early 20th century.
Includes the following:
1 x 6″ ruler with inches and mm measurements
1 x 150mm compass/dividers (with lead holder and ink nib)
1 x 100mm extension arm
1 x 125mm dividers
1 x 150mm ruling pen with wooden handle
1 x plastic protractor marked Philip Son & Nephew
In a fitted wooden case with purple velvet interior (measures 20 x 11.5cm)
The inside of the case pulls down to reveal a compartment where the protractor is kept. The small piece of ribbon is no longer there so you need to slip something flat down there to pull the lid out.

Payment
Once a bid has been placed, it is a legally binding contract of purchase. Items must be paid for within 4 days of ing. If this is not possible then please contact me prior to bidding so that we can arrange something. I will open an unpaid item case if the buyer does not pay or contact me within these 4 days. PayPal is preferred method of payment for UK buyers, but I will accept Cheque or postal orders too. No bank transfers. International buyers must pay using PayPal and pay in GBP ONLY.
Postage &
Items will normally be sent within 2 working days of processed payment, barring anything out of my control such as extreme weather.. Postage discounts may be available if multiple items are purchased – if you win multiple items, please let me invoice you first.
Items that sell for a certain amount may require being signed for upon delivery. Please be aware of this; apologies if this causes inconvenience but it is the safest option when sending an item of a high value.
International buyers, please note: if an item does not arrive within its estimate, I ask you to be patient and wait 30 days, as I have had several cases of international postage taking this long to arrive. International postage will be sent by Royal Mail/Parcelforce (or other reputable courier) so this should not be a common problem.
Please remember that the postage cost covers postage and packing. I try and make my postage costs as fair as possible, taking into account the packaging materials, the ink, paper, actual postage cost etc etc.
I always retain proof of postage, and can provide this if requested.
