A FANCY 1920 WALTHAM POCKET WATCH WITH LOVELY ART DECO FEATURES!

This is an exquisite Waltham pocket watch that you’ll want to take out often when you are the proud owner! Measuring approximately 43 mm, this lovely 1920 Waltham pocket watch is an amazing find! Its gold filled case is in with only minor surface scratches from normal use on the back of the case from normal use over time, and its fancy engraved script initials attest to the love and care this piece has received over the years. Its edges and borders are beautifully chased in an intricate floral pattern, and this chasing continues up the distinctively shaped pillar crown underneath a uniquely shaped bow. This is where you will both wind and set your newest collectible, and you won’t be able to help yourself from showing this fine example of Art Deco style off to family and friends as often as possible!

The unique gold tone dial is also in very good condition and features black stylized numbers and black steel open moon style hands. The inner circle of the dial has an exquisite fancy embellished pattern in its center and the entire dial has a gorgeous sheen! A sunken sub-seconds dial sits at the six o’clock position with its own fine black markers, miniature stick style seconds hand and numbered at every ten second interval. Signed “Waltham” and showing the perfect amount of authentic aging, you’ll be very pleased to have this historic timepiece among your beloved antique treasures!

Turning over the piece and opening the hinged back case, you’ll see this watch is running on an exceptionally clean “A.W.W. Co. Waltham USA” signed 17 jewel movement, and after nearly 100 years, this watch still runs with absolute accuracy and high precision. The stunning movement has its own lovely damaskeening pattern throughout and is stamped with the serial number 23697931 which dates this spectacular piece to 1920! This beautiful and sophisticated Art Deco pocket watch is ready to show off and enjoy and will look fantastic in your hand or as a centerpiece of your fine collection!

UNITED STATES SHIPPING
If your payment is received through PayPal this item will be shipped out within 1 business day. Payment will have to clear for all other payment methods prior to shipping.
