Vintage fire axe in good condition. Stamped UNDERHILL EDGE TOOL CO. and a circled 7 for year. Also a K on the back side. Think it’s a 4 1/2 lb. head; total weight is a little over 5 1/2 lbs. Some scattered old pitting, few small dings; not bad, see pics. Decent old edge, no signs of sharpening. Good pick point. Head measures 11 ins. across w/ 4 7/8 ins. edge. Nice old handle, tight and solid, no chips or cracks. OAL is 34 1/2 ins. Nice old piece for your collection, ready for action. This auction is for US States only.
