For your consideration Waterbury “OXFORD” mirror side walnut clock in excellent condition
One of the rarest and most beautiful parlor clocks by Waterbury. This model was made around 1880 and very popular at that time. Other makers from this period also produced this model (“Triumph” by Ansonia , “Occidental” by New Haven), but Waterbury’s Oxford is by far rarest and hard to find.
The clock is very clean and overall in great condition. The beautiful walnut case is 23 1/4″ tall and still has original mirrors. The 8-day movement strikes hour and half hour, marked “Waterbury Clock Co.” in good working condition. New paper dial on original pan.
The clock doesn’t need any work and is ready for your enjoyment,
however, as always after shipping, the movement might need some adjustment.
